“This is a practical choice for exploring Edinburgh, especially given its location in the Bruntsfield area, which provides a quieter base. The inclusion of parking, albeit for smaller vehicles, is a notable advantage in a busy city. I think the provision of tea and coffee facilities in each room contributes to a comfortable stay.”

an adequate stay. some issues noted

poor insulationscratchy towels
The bathroom was quite small. It felt cramped. the towels provided were not of good quality, and i found them to be rather rough. also, the sound insulation was poor. I could clearly hear noises from other rooms, difficult to sleep. the tv next door seemed to be in my room! phone conversations echoed down the hallway. it felt rather unprivate.

the location was pretty good. i could walk to the main attractions. the owner was responsive and helpful. the beds were comfortable (i got good sleep!).
the hotel is an old terraced house. it reminded me of there were some improvements needed. check-in involved a phone call to the owners (not ideal). i had to wait a bit for someone to open the door.
